Monday 1st October was one of the busiest sessions we have ever had. We held our first ever Over 50's session that was part of the City of York Council's Eng-age 50+ games. Sensei Ian and Sensei Mike had been instructed to bring along their certificates that they had received at the Award Ceremony for Older People's Champion awards. 
A photographer from The Press came to take a photo of Sensei Mike who had been made an Older People's Champion. Dojo Bear was awarded to Evie for all her hardwork during September.
At the end of the evening we held a surprise
party for Sensei Mike and Sensei Ian to show them how proud we are of them for all their hardwork and dedication to the Club.
Oh and we did some training as well!
